  • you are typing Control-1 to make the red underline from a spell checker go away.
  • you are typing Control-Shift-O to expunge deleted emails from your inbox.

You have been coding too much Java if you come home, and instead of using your key to open the door you find yourself thinking "public void open()".

you have been coding too much in Eclipse if your fingers bones have fused into rigid, arthritic claws from typing insane key chord combinations like "Ctrl+Alt+Shift+X R".

Something similar happened to me, but with Vim. On Windows, i tried to save and quit executing :wq on Notepad.

You have been coding too much in Eclipse if you use ctrl + space to autocomplete words in Word!

The same happens to me with IntelliJ IDEA.

I sometimes try to open a file in the file explorer using Ctrl + N or renaming a file using Maj + F6.
